Andong box

This box is a very special piece of work. We recovered it from the province of Shanxi in China. The distinction of this box is due to the fact that it was lined with papier-mâché. Although it was made around the 1950s, the cut-outs on the outside of the box can still be seen almost intact. It belongs to Becara's Antique Collection, a collection full of history and Asian tradition created to add a personal and eclectic touch to your home decor. As these are antique and handcrafted pieces, they may have variations in colour or certain imperfections, but we understand that this is part of their beauty and unique character.
